Texas wine Y’all. Here we come. This is 92 point Tennat is from the Hill Country AVA. Texas wine is earning respect. Get you some! Big black cherry and a well balanced mouth feel. Front, mid and back pallet all engage here. This has the vibe of a nice high end St. Emillion. — 4 years ago

AMAZING! Blend of white and red “grab bag” of grapes from a small parcel in Umbria. Juicy, fresh, delicious. — 5 years ago
Actually the wildflower Italian wine blend. Very tasty. Pepper on the nose, fruity/smoky taste. Nice acid balance. Long finish. — 3 years ago

I am as shocked as you are to find this fine a wine emanating from Texas…anywhere. This Mozzafiato is medium-full bodied blend soft on the palate, almost perfect balance and overall somewhat elegant in complexity…and with an obviously Italian “heritage”. A rich but not at all sweet blend of Sangiovese 22%, Barbera 26%, Dolcetti 20% and Primativo 42%. 14% alcohol, too expensive now but if Robert Parker tries it, maybe not. — a year ago
