We enjoyed this Chardonnay. No oak . Hints of apple & pear. Not to acidic & round body. — 7 years ago
The 2019 Zinfandel (Russian River Valley) is bright and full of energy. Ripe red/purplish berry fruit, rose petal, spice, lavender and mint are front and center in this refreshing Russian River Zinfandel. Floral notes and bright acids perk up the finish. This is such a gorgeous wine, and also a great introduction to this lineup. The Russian River Zinfandel is really a Zinfandel-based field blend from Limerick Lane and a handful of other properties, including Banfield, Collins, Sodini and Ponzo. Very good. Benefit of Covid due to excess previously vineyard designates included in this wine. Vineyards like: Bedrock, Nervo, Sodini, Evangelho, Katushas, Teldeschi, Pagani, Old Hill, and Enz!!!!!!!!! — 4 years ago
Classic Carlisle extraction. Beautiful nose of black raspberry, Bing cherry, licorice and cardamom infused with a bit of smokiness. Well integrated palate that echoes the nose, with a long fruit-driven finish underscored by tobacco. Well balanced for drinking now and should age well for another five years. — 8 years ago

Medium ruby, the 2017 Once & Future Zinfandel Sodini Vineyard exhibits a wonderful freshness and is nowhere near the usually heavy style from other Californian regions. The nose displays well defined aromas of black plum, ripe strawberries, vanilla, chocolate, licorice and spice box. Full-bodied with good acidity and polished tannins, I can easily see this wine benefiting from a few more years in bottle. Drink now until 2027 — 2 years ago
