Tannic, rich, smooth, a little acid, strong fruity flavors. — 3 years ago
Musty, stinky bog, rich with humus, detritus, and steaming piles of microbial organisms. The core, the central tenet, of everything that makes up humans and at the same time, renders humans completely irrelevant. That feeling when you realize that the world will continue without you and your ilk, a happy feeling for all but the most insecure. — 6 years ago
Had the pleasure of tasting this Bob Burtheau from Ste Michelle. I tasted this along with Tenet GSM and Pundint. Really liked this wine, it is a great value at this price point, great Syrah mouthfeel and body, dark red fruits, with some nice balanced acidity and tannin. Cool label too. Don't fear Cock! — 9 years ago
Started with really tart berry, almost green apple flavor. Mellowed out with time but kept the tartness with added pepper. — 5 years ago

Exotic aromatics. Black pepper, lavender, and dark fruits all come off like they've been infused with Tangerine peel oil. High-toned and slightly bitter, but better for it. I could sit and smell this wine over and over. Very Côte Rotie. — 9 years ago
