Apr 25th, 2021Holy tannins!
Red cherries, red currant, red plum... Fruit leather. Vanilla, cedar, coconut, caramel
High acid, high tannins, harsh upfront, but give it time to breathe. I would love this to have a few more years in the bottle.

Mar 20th, 2021Ruby hue with medium-high saturation. Aromas and flavors of blackberry, cheese, cherry, coffee, hay, leather, oak, plum, smoke, tar, vanilla, and violet. Medium-full body; full (yet supple) tannins; and medium-high acidity. An engaging, rustic nose with an elegant, medium-long finish. An approachable SuperTuscan (itself a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot, Sangiovese, and Syrah) from one of the oldest winemaking families.

Mar 9th, 2020Excellent for $12.99 bottle of wine. Tastes like something much more expensive. Very smooth and drinkable with earthy, chocolately overtones and a balancing fruitiness. Went well with homemade lasagna dinner to celebrate a birthday.
