Delicious cab for the money — 7 years ago
Smoky smoky toast and plum skins, burnt cherrywood, pencil, and a cinnamon-cedar interplay. Exciting bouquet! Their Chenin is equally enticing! Dark baker's chocolate and tar are enveloped by burnt violets, bitter, salty, purple tropical flowers, herbs de Provence, dagga root, licorice extract and charred cedar. Earthy debris finish evoking torched fields. #southafricanwine — 9 years ago

A great go to wine for us. Aromas and taste of strawberry cherry and smoke. Great finish. — 9 years ago
Layers fragrance with a little flower flavor. It gave me an illusion of tasting Riesling. Finally I think this bottle should be open next summer... — 9 years ago

I haven't had many S. African wines, but this one was full-bodied and delicious. It went well with both the steak and salmon dishes we had - definitely would order this wine again. — 8 years ago

This is a Syrah-Mourvèdre blend. Lovely lighter color. Like rose hips and rust meet blood. Dusky-dusty aromas. Some ink well as well. Flavors are nice. Smooth and easy. Balance is good. Not as chewy and dense as I like my Syrah, but it’s elegant and citrus-y in a blood oranges and sangria sorta way. Plenty of spice box and tart red berry syrup too. This is a nice wine. One of the better I’ve had from South Africa. Much more reserved than most of them. — 4 years ago
