Solid if not amazing 2012 Walla Walla Syrah. Has exactly the profiles you might expect of a W2 Syrah: nice chalky grip and silty mouthfeel, strong red fruit profiles, maybe a hint of cassis, and a long, slow fade with tobacco and pepper notes. Yum! — 8 years ago
