Such lightness and freshness, like when you breathe clean mountain air. Yet it has real taste and depth. Radically different from any German red, I really cannot compare it to any other wine in memory. How do they make this? — 8 years ago

Fun little number with red berries, spice, hints of something vegetal. Popped when I opened it and drinks pretty spritzy but that's pretty fun and there's no real tannin there to fight it. — 10 years ago

I been urged to drink more, serious German Champagne. Now I see why. This is intensely serious wine with big flavors and a long finish. Nutty, Fall apples, with lots of PNoir structure and authority. Probably some serious aging potential because of this, as well as incredible minerality and bright, German acid! Some floral and pastry notes to round it off, and really coming together at only 5 years old! — 8 years ago
