— 9 years ago
Pale straw color, slightly cloudy, very floral on the nose, and a hint of green apple, good balance, great acidity and minerality, medium finish. Great wine. — 2 years ago
Green apple and pannonian spice. Oily texture. — 8 years ago
WOW! I have rarely had a Blaufränkisch that I really, truly enjoyed, but I guess the ordinary consumption of these wines is just organized infancide if this is what age does for them – or at least can do for them. This bottle completely changed my attitude towards Austrian reds. — 8 years ago

Decanted for 90 minutes. The wine offered cherry, blackberry, plum, coffee and cocoa on the nose. On the palate the wine showed dark cherry, blackberry, plum, coffee, cocoa, spices and black pepper, paired with medium to medium-plus acidity, medium-level round tannin and incredible length. The medium- to full-bodied, fruity, juicy wine was round and very balanced and drank very well. A great wine. Drink now and over the next three to four years. 90 — 11 years ago
