@Daniel M the domaine is in Minervois, but appears to declassify their wines. The picpoul noir vines were planted in 1910. First time for me as well. Fun wine.
Nicely aromatic, evocative and interesting with dark fruit and decomposing leaves. Spicy and a little muddled on the palate, blackberries, black pepper and earth with a mineral, feral finish. — 6 days ago
Drinking well. Savory and woody, a touch soft, slightly volatile. Peppery, both green and black. Killer with grass fed steak. Good now, this bottle was rather resolved and lacking structure — 2 months ago
Fragrant, cherry floral earth and leather tones. Oaky on the palate, still pretty aggressive. Dense. Intense with serious palate impact. Kinda hard to rate…could use a few more years I figure — 6 days ago
