The type of wine you impulse buy after telling the Uber Black Car driver to stop by the liquor store. Articulate soft blackberryness, medium acidity, medium plus to moderate tannins, Fruity, lightly earthy Old World Nebbiolo that screams "Enjoy me!" Best paired with divorce papers and sadness. Excellent producer, cork was smooth and distinct. Will enjoy again. — 9 years ago
Worked 70 hours this week and this is a hell of a Pinot Noir on which to rest my laurels. In reading the reviews, I noticed Derek Hearst thought it suffered from heavy acid, clearly he forgot to properly prepare the wine as a real sommelier would do. Let the wine open up: fruity, dark berries, noticeable absence of tart, medium acidity, tannins - not over the top, rather the mouthfeel continues to remind you of the beautiful Willamette grapes you're currently enjoying. Pair with Black Rhino horn, Minecraft, and dead babies. — 9 years ago
