Loved it! Slightly oxidized with strong finish of warmed Cracker Jack popcorn (for you Jersey folks. johnson’s popcorn from the Ocean City Boardwalk) — 4 years ago
Creme brûlée, peach, lemon curd and vanilla on the nose. Well balanced with notes of lemon curd, pineapple and peach. — 4 years ago
A classic old-style Barolo. This bottle has another decade left, although approachable after a couple hours of decanting. A potpourri of red ripe fruits with leather and tobacco notes. — 4 years ago

I love the dirty nose. Dark red fruit (strong sour cherry), cinnamon, with a hint of herbaceous notes. Spectacular bottle!! 🍷 — 4 years ago
Beautiful nose of nectarine and white peach w/ slight white blossom. Disappointing on the palate, unripe white peach, not very balanced (too much acidity) and short on the finish. — 4 years ago

Today was a reason to celebrate, my good friend was promoted to MD at the Big 4. Well deserved, Joe! This bottle is amazing - loads of minerality with lemon zest, lemon curd and a hint of butterscotch (although, the butterscotch may be the influence of the subsequent rating/bottle; Meursault-Perrier’s 1997) — 4 years ago

Bare with me as I attempt to describe the nose, imagine the nose from turkey dinner the day after when you’re seeking a turkey sandwich from Thanksgiving Day leftovers immediately after peeling back the foil. There is a lot going on the palate. White blossoms and mandarin orange on the front palate, honeysuckle mid palate with appropriate acid mid-back palate that increase with time - perfect finish! — 4 years ago
