The Heart’s Delight Wine Tasting and Auction taking place this week in Washington, D.C., is a four-day celebration of food and drink with opportunities to meet and dine with master winemakers and celebrity chefs. In the past 18 years, the event has raised more than $16.5 million for the American Heart Association.
Events will include a celebration of American wine, intimate wine dinners at homes and embassies throughout D.C., and a Grand Tasting that will include spirited live and silent auctions.
Before the Grand Tasting, participants can take a Bordeaux Master Class featuring wines from the 2015 vintage along-side older vintages from such wineries as Domaine de Chevalier, Chateau Haut-Bailly, Chateau Lynch-Bages, Chateau Lafon-Rochet and Chateau Cos d’Estournel.
