Pale gold in colour. A trace of paraffin, tangerine and grapefruit peel. Palate staining intensity - mandarin flesh, ripe grapefruit, low acid with great length. I had a bottle of this a week ago which was oxidised and over the hill so I was thinking the worst for this but Lo and behold this was brilliant. This wine is at its peak. A superb dry Riesling and one of the 1001 Wines. — 5 years ago
Enjoying this at Capital for it’s depth and grainy tannins. Coffee notes everywhere, with prominent oak treatment. Very well put together, just needs cellaring, but I love this presentation as-is. — 4 years ago
What a nose. Gorgeous soft red fruit. Plush and plummy with violets, black cherry. Very right bank bordeaux. Medium bodied, lovely balance. Length but quite subtle. Very good. — 4 years ago

Really enjoyable. Rose petals and candied Orange on the nose. The palate is clean with enough acidity to not be cloying. Sweet Apricot preserves on the finish. — 4 years ago
