Honeyfresh pseudo(not)sweet and savory, my goodness it goes the distance. Overripe apples, pears, and tangerines sprinkled with underripe honeysuckle and a pinch of salt start us off.
Himalayan pink sea salt this is Portland people. The bitter end is an afterthought to balance any perceived non-not-trying-coolness. Crocheted beanie cool but like only because ya know it’s homemade vibes leveled up (that honeysuckle tho!) and dialed down (the bitter end). I’m not sure if this wine would have coffee with me but I cold brew so hope I’m chill enough for it. — 4 years ago
Soaks into my palate like a good body lotion to the skin, nourishing and moisture-rich but absorbs right in without any residue. In fact, the more you use (drink?) the dewier and more golden and perfect you appear, is the this the BB cream of wines? I dunno but it is beautiful and you are too.
Also there is an almond nature that haunts me as I have sense memories of an extraordinary hair conditioner that smelled of amaretto.
Okay actual notes: golden in color (duh) medium plus nose of ripe yellow plum, apricot, flowers and honeycomb, on the palate (omg what a silky) medium plus body, dry, medium acid, all the aforementioned flowers with a bit of herbs tossed in to boot. It has a small and friendly bite no more threatening than a friendly kitten. Long finish and like I said it starts unctuous then seamlessly soaks in leaving only the aroma and memory which (if your glass is full enough) you fortunately can revisit. Just to be sure. — 4 years ago
Omigosh if you can get some Ventisquero please do. This is yet another if their fabuuuuu offerings. Heady and full but it has a halo. It levitates. It gives you what for at the same time as a massage. Which sounds like an abusive relationship but this wine has figured out how to push your buttons in the right way. — 4 years ago
Oh so delightful I can’t even. Smells of honeysuckle, elderflower, lemon curd and tastes as much with a bitter herbal kick, like it took a note from pastry chefs adding savory garnishes to their desserts. Both warming and refreshing like...not quite tough love but at least honest love. — 4 years ago
Vivio Vineyard! Bennett Valley! What fun that is fond of the Old World. In other worlds it gloriously is subdued on the fruit but still ripe and also there is the value of the acid and alcohol it feeeeels like Old and tastes like...both. Fabulous. It is here AND there and happy about it. Has had several years to cheer up may keep aging but guzzle now if you feel it.
Actually this may be the wine to please everyone at the party: enough ripeness and easy interpretation for fruit punch palates and balance and sophistication for all. — 5 years ago

Trademark silliness garnished with lime zest and supported by light white bread. Fun n games but like serious yet fun games. — 4 years ago
