The third of three 21-year-old single malts that we tasted at the December Old Line Scotch Club meeting. This was slightly tangy, smooth and complex. As good as it was, it was the least favorite of the three, by consensus, among the club members. #glenlivet #21 #whisky #singlemalt #oldlinescotchclub #tubbysdiner — 8 years ago
Decided to try the Gott rated #21 for 2020. Very well made with upfront citrus notes. Super good acidity and mouth coating texture all for less than $8 a bottle @ Costco. This is a drink now wine and why not. Green/ gold color with up front varietal tension. Well worth the $$. With salmon and lemon 🍋 . Much better than many commercial SB on the market. Celebrating #21 w Mrs. Feyereisen this evening. She picked this out last time we were in Napa so I thought we should try it. Big whiff of white pepper on the nose, a little chalk and a whole lot of dark fruit. Very nice. — 7 years ago
This was a 2009 Lot#21 and i found it to be very togther. The leafy character of the CF had a bay leaf note that was very sexy. Structure has kept her well still fresh happy i still have a few boxes -- just journos folks none for sale :-( — 10 years ago
A nicely made dessert wine, especially for the price ($22). A lighter style; peach, a strong lemon note. Good viscosity - satisfyinf but not too heavy. This would be great with a fruit-centric dessert. Pandemic bottle #21. — 5 years ago
This review is for barrel #21 which I purchased at the Union Square Greenmarket. Age: 9 months. — 5 years ago
