One of #atlasofwine's favorite producers. You may both intellectualize and quaff this classic McLaren Vale cabernet blend. — 8 years ago
#atlasofwine felt like taking a good picture tonight! I've been calling Atlas "The Superlative Kitten" because of our calling him the fluffiest, handsomest, cuddliest cat. He's also the most photogenic. (Proud dad disclosure.) McLaren Vale shiraz here and a darn good one! Loaded up on the lavender/violet, ripe forest blueberry jam with fresh cracked white pepper, dare I say eucalyptus, mint jelly, sandalwood. The palate delivers fresh dark fruit and is drier than expected. 👏🏼 — 8 years ago
This scrumptious delight threw me for a big ripe chardonnay in a blind tasting. There's great body, exotic lychee and tropical fruit, but nice green/vegetal tones all supported by fresh acid. #atlasofwine enjoys grüner! — 8 years ago

#atlasofwine studying Condrieu, Northern Rhone viognier. Fermented in barrique with battonage, malo in barrique, 9 months elevage in barrique. I didn't think I could love varietal expressions of viognier. One of the lessons from my recent yoga immersion is appropriate: "Worse than ignorance is certainty." This wine is fireworks; voluptuous fruit, generous body, creamy vanillin, candied and dried orchard fruits, while elegantly balanced. Thanks @Nick Apone for the suggestion. — 8 years ago
Zero chill. #atlasofwine beholding nature in one of it's unbridled forms. This raw Cornelissen Nerello Mascalese from Sicily is taking no prisoners. Exhilarating ride. — 8 years ago
How #atlasofwine likes to approach Saturdays. The 2009 vintage of this wine is stunning right now! This is a modern, international blend from Navarra in Spain. Menthol, spice, and currant cake. (Is currant cake a thing??) — 8 years ago
Today's #atlasofwine comes from the Alentejo region of Portugal. Dry Portuguese reds can be some of my favorites. This one is definitely on my short list of favorites for under $15 retail. Touriga Nacional and Syrah each bring so much character to this wine. — 8 years ago
So pretty and delicate, fresh, malic, lemony, acid driven. #atlasofwine — 8 years ago

#atlasofwine is in love with this Soave Classico. Crunchy yellow apple flesh, basil flowers, and wet volcanic rock in a lees-ful package. — 7 years ago
