Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2019

My preferred #napavalley #cabernetsauvignon - big yet balanced, blackberry, fine tannins that build and some black pepper spice on the finish. #coombsville — 5 months ago

Coombsville Merlot 2011

Sometimes a bottle of wine is beautiful inside and out, an elegant and intriguing #Merlot from @farellavineyard . Thank you @hawk_wakawaka for your review, a different vintage but now I can't wait to try a 2012. #NapaValley #Coombsville — 9 years ago

Estate Grown Napa Valley Merlot - Cabernet Sauvignon Rosé Blend 2021

Admittedly I’m picky on Napa rosé - most of the time they feel like a cynical effort at bringing in quick cash flow to a winery. This one is an exception. Some darker fruit detail on the aroma, solid acidity and as it warms some layers on the palate with a bit of spice on the finish. Food friendly wine: paired well with creamy pasta and chicken tikka kati rolls on consecutive nights. #coombsville — 7 months ago

Proprietor's Blend Napa Valley Red Bordeaux Blend 2006

Dark ripe fruit, the merlot is very present. Rich oak and a velvety mouthfeel. Good choice for a rainy day. #harvestlunch #cabandposole #coombsville — 10 years ago

I tried this blend and found nice Aromas of blue fruits and hints of chocolate. This pretty much replicated itself on the palate as well. Had a nice lingering finish. #California #napavalley #coombsville #ItalicsWinegrowers #redblend — 7 years ago

I tried the 2009 Pearce Maxwell's Cabernet tonight. This Cabernet blend has a nice bouquet of red fruits, tobacco leaf and earth. It is a deep dark velvety pleasure to drink. There are hints or BlackBerry, Oak and a touch of Cassas that hangs around like a warm memory. The tannins show themselves nicely in a lovely lingering finish. We drank this as a stand alone drink, but it would lovely with food. #coombsville #napa #ajpearce — 9 years ago
