Reaching into the wayback machine of my palate preferences to see if I can motivate the Caps to not suck in the playoffs with some Big F*©king Red Wine. And yeah, this wine just isn't my bag anymore, baby. But I'll take one for the team and choke it down 🤣😂

Ok, I'm being dramatic, it's not terrible, just not what I'm used to drinking anymore.

Strong blackberry, graphite, anise, oak, touch of saline, mint, not too tannic on the palate actually. Fairly smooth.

@Berg funny but I don't mind some Bedrock at 15%, but rarely do I love a cab, CF or cab blend above maybe 14.3%. I hate what Robert Parker has done to wine.

It's rare I meet a wine above 15% that doesn't immediately taste like it...I dunno, maybe I've become more sensitive to it after drinking Champagne and Burgundy for a few years now 😜
