Old-school styling and warmer vintage character find a perfect balance in the '07 Breclemae. The nose showed tart cherry, rich plum, undergrowth, old leather, minerals, hints of wild herbs, and with time in the glass, spiced dried orange--wow. On the palate, I found a savory expression with velvety textures and saline-minerality paving the way for a mix of dried cherry and strawberry fruits. It came across as a bit rustic toward the finish but in the best possible way, with lingering mineral and earth tones. This shows incredible freshness for the vintage. #nebbiolo#ghemme — 8 years ago
