Just tasted this again on 12/20/18. A completely different wine: plush and deeply satisfying, with much more complexity in the nose (roast game & game juices) and superb texture and length. Makes me think the bottle I had previously was the victim of TCB, the kind of corked that renders bottles “dead” tasting. #rufina #sangiovese #tuscany
