This wine is 100% Syrah. More specifically, the "Estrella" (or "Star") clone of Syrah. The grapes were hand harvested and the wine was fermented with native yeast. It spent 18 months in French oak of which 30% was new. Smoked meat, mixed berries, violets, & pepper. #santabarbara #star — 10 years ago
