Pear, soft smoke on latex, lychee/ginko syrup, schisty with a hint of banana peel in limoncello initially pop from the glass, but subside into distinct minerality. Heavy mouthfeel, bordering on cream, with a strong lemon against a ground granite dust. Banana pepper, olive oil, finishing dry and spicy, but always in the shadow of a pineapple foam. Long finish. This #viogier from #chenebleu is showing so much better than it was 21 weeks ago. The nose and palate showed gorgeous aromatics and ripe delicious fruit. The weight was heavy but still sleek and elegant at the same time. — 9 years ago
