BBQ & Zin night!

This was served too warm for my liking, especially alongside the hot TX BBQ, so it was tough to get everything out of it, but it was still youthful and powerful. Mainly red and black fruits here, with some sweet oak. Not quite jammy but not quite peppery. Good balance.

Ruby color slight alcohol nose, herbal and dark berries. Not a jammy Zin more medium bodied with a balanced finish. Alcohol in aroma only not on taste or finish

Second bottle of RAF zin for New Years and second vintage . Notes from previous vintage apply, with a little more fruit

My favorite Cali Zin. Never disappoints!

Surprisingly sparkly on the open. Is that 08 or just needs to open up for awhile?

Really well balanced. Not a super "CA" zin (nicely free of jam). Flavor nice, but not particularly complex.

Zin for the win! Blackberry front with a cherry linger.

Still crazy after all these years. Holds up well.
