Pear and paw-paw, lemon pudding, pineapple spray, and lime zest form the atmosphere, riveting pine and lime interplay on landing, chalky and dusty brown touch, getting steely and framing a lemon peel and racy peach skin that recalls a Condrieu strata that keeps it very interesting indeed. #southafricanwine #cheninblanc #steen

Ruby in color with medium intensity and a wide reddish rim.
Earthy nose with blueberries, plums, currants, oak, vanilla, vegetables, earth, bitter herbs, almonds, metals, tar, pencil lead, peppercorn and bitter chocolates.
Medium plus in body with medium acidity and nice legs.
Dry and earthy on the palate with plums, strawberries, raspberries, vanilla, oak, licorice, cloves, earth, leather, green pepper and peppercorn.
Short finish with round tannins and spices.
A Nice Shiraz blend from South Africa, and a good every day red wine. Nicely balanced with mild complexity. Earthy and a good wine for food, but also by itself.
It has a light mouthfeel with a kick on the ending.
A blend of 83% Shiraz, 10% Grenache and 7% Cinsault. Grapes are grown on granite soil and fermented in concrete vats.
13.5% alcohol by volume.
