AA Badenhorst Family Wines are grown & made on Kalmoesfontein farm in the Swartland appellation of South Africa. Blended with a touch of Palomino and a bit from a secret grape. Aromas of citrus fruits and honey notes. On the palate stone & green fruit flavors with orange citrus notes. Lively, crisp acidity ending with mineral notes. Nice value.

Body of a Chardonnay, dry, lush, lemon, petrol, spun sugar. Definitely different than most chenin blancs I’ve had. Pleasing for how simple it is.

We had this at Momofuku in Las Vegas and loved it! Delicious with Asian influenced food.

Not as good as the Bastingage Anjou Chenjn Blac I had. But it’s pleasant. Sweet and sour. Has a body. But still light.
Babs liked it more than me.
