Mendoza Cabernet Sauvignon

TGIF. This week my Cabernet fix is an Argentinian delight.
Dirty ruby in color with a short brick rim.
Strong nose of blackberries, cherries, plums, herbs, earth, pine, toasted oak, leather, licorice, vanilla, vegetables, vinegar, chocolates, coffee and peppercorn.
Medium bodied and smooth, with medium plus acidity and long legs.
Extra dry on the palate with cherries, plums, blueberries, blackberries, vanilla, oak, licorice, spices, chocolates, vegetables, earth, tobacco, beef jerky and peppercorn.
Medium plus on the finish with soft tannins and raspberries.
This is a great Great Argentinian Cabernet. Smooth, luxurious, almost balanced, and needs a couple of years in the bottle to mature. Shows nice acidity, complexity and earthiness.
Enjoyable by itself or with food, and would pair nicely with a nice piece of steak.
100% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes from Mendoza, unfined and Unfiltered. Needs at least an hour to open up properly.
14.5% alcohol by volume.

Well balanced. Tannins. Nice body, with little linger. Mocha, earthy, light spice finish. New world cab. Acidity light, memorable, quick unique.
