2007 vintage. At Boca di Lupo. Medium lemon hue. Heavy patisserie, slight oxidative notes, ripe stone fruits and lemon peel, some nutty notes. Wow. On the palate, dry, medium plus fresh acidity, medium body, lemon curd rich and deep concentration of flavour. Fairly long finish. Reminds me of NV Selosse Substance. Drink now until 2023.

Obviously still quite young and wound up - beautiful evolution as it opened. Persistent finish. Another great example of superb winemaking letting Avize shine. Despite the youth already complex and integrated enough that it paired quite well with wide variety of food.
