Great maroon color. Lively and herbal and toasty, less funky. Good balanced tannin. Strong fruit presence. Seamless throughout the long finish. Crying for a Supreme pizza. Damn delicious wine.

Oct 30th, 2015Good example of Chianti Classico. Great ruby color. Very nice fruit notes on the first smell. The taste is very tight without any aeration. Needs some time to open up, or could use a few more years in the bottle. After getting some air into it the tannins soften and more secondary flavors begin to emerge.

Jun 16th, 2017Great Chianti Classico Grand Selezion! Earthy boquet, before licorice and plum. Takes me back to my honeymoon in Tuscany. Absolutely gorgeous mouth feel with dusty tannins and just right amound of acidity. This is ready to drink now. Sangiovese and some ancient grape varietal. In my books, only the best Brunello can get better.
