Unusual and interesting. Indigenous grape Vernaccia Nera from Serrapetrona, mountain grapes. Used mostly for sparkling wines but this one is dry and tastes of the earth and fresh tart cherries warmed by the sun. It took me on a lovely journey.

Mineral and slight cooked vegetable. Opens up with some cola and anise. Cranberry and cherry cough syrup flavor.
