Meh. With all the good wine in this area, why drink cheap Syrah like a pauper? Simple, fruit forward, and something only sheep who follow Robert Parker could love. No subtleties here with big berries and plum, but nothing else. The finish is disappointing with an attempt at pepper and cloves but never quite gets there.
