Surprisingly bland, but by no means a loser. Big juicy fruit, with lots of earthy goodness in the nose. A perfect table wine!

Jul 11th, 2016Meaty and toothsome on the nose. Lavender, pepper, cedar, black currant, leather-topped writing desk, that coriandery wheat beer thing, and a hint of anise dancing around the edges. Really great acid--bright and drinkable. Medium light well structured tannins. Melts into a buttery smooth richness--the oak plays its part perfectly. Great finish: plum, vanilla and shortbread. Excellent!
