Beautiful deep color. Do NOT I repeat, do not even take a sip for at least 5-10 min. Can't even explain how bad that first sip was! Just opened - almost tossed it. I Let it sit after reading reviews - waited before tossing and it opened up nicely. Quite shocking at the difference. #Masculine aroma (leather, black currant and #chocolate) rather flat and warm at first then erupting leaving a #spicy oak finish on the palate. The kind of spicy finish that leaves your tongue a bit dry. If you're into a spicy finish- this is well worth the $15 - super great find for a Tuesday night.

Not the best Tempranillo I've ever had. Great food wine. We had avocado in our salad and this went really well with the fattiness of the avocado.
Overall the balance was a little off, too sweet, tannins were thrown off (washed out) by an earthy, smokey finish.

92 Parker, sub 20 and the antithesis of why Tempranillo , in this case the toro clone, rocks! Killer buy. Ripe dark cherry, great acidity and fine tannins. Yum
