Almanac Beer Company
Saison Dolores
Wow, watch out for this one. Maybe just not the way you think though. I bought a six pack and all four I've had were bombs. It's actually a nice beer if you can keep it from losing all its carbonation after opening it and it spews all over the place. It's also hard to pour as it foams up with a large thick white long lasting head but it loses all its carbonation so they all turned out pretty flat. Nice fruity bouquet with some yeasty notes. Hazy golden color. A little banana comes through with a tiny bit of sourness on the back end and just enough funkiness to make this an interesting beer. Light mouthfeel so you can probably enjoy a few. I just want a little more carbonation to give it that extra zing. I'll check the can for an expiration date maybe I bought an old batch and it was still fermenting in the cans.

Nov 30th, 2016I'm still in my beer infancy, so my palate has not matured enough yet to appreciate big hoppy bitter beers. This was nothing of the sort, so I am very impressed. It has lots of clovey spice, very well balanced, fresh and malty. I can drink this every day.
