Pleasant, but sort of straightforward and lacking complexity. My expectations were higher after cellaring this for several years.

A bit brutish and muscular. Blackberry, plum and black cherry. Huge mid palate. Probably needed a decant.

Dec 29th, 2015This was the 2007 alpha omega era Rutherford cab franc. Was HUGE and beautiful after about an hour of decanting. A superstar!!!

Era from Alpha Omega. Always a treat. We taste it in the barrel in October then buy the bottle and get it in the spring. Thanks to Amy and Doug for introducing us to this winery.
