Great example for a balanced, non buttery Napa Valley Chardonnay. Signature note of almond, golden apples and kiwi. Not much of pear, although that was in the menu. This is a wine of elegance.

Perfectly balanced. Only the slightest hint of oak; otherwise just stone fruits and citrus. Perfect viscosity, luscious but not overly rich, med to long finish. Perfect for summer and for pairing. Well suited to those who don't usually like Napa Chardonnays. Oy but the price...

My last bottle of 2012. Almost there, but fell just the tiniest bit short b/c I know perfection after tasting the 2010.

I'm normally not fond of Chardonnay's but this one is good. The smell of caramel and the lingering taste of a toasted marshmallow. Mmmmmm yummy
