Alpha Onega unoaked chardonnay from 2012. Uised as part of my girlfriend's guest lecture today I get the spoils of that. Exotic nose includes guava, peach pit, and a little bit of kiwi with a lemony tinge to it. Visually it's a stunning wine, bright gold with a watery rim, and the palate lingers with ripe fruit and a wonderful texture to the wine. I don't like the big California chardonnays, but I do really like this one.

Yellow apple, juicy pear, pineapple skin, sugar cookie, and chalky minerality on the nose, pithy navel orange, bruised apple, banana creme, and lime peel on the palate- great acidity, but why does it seem hot at 12.9%?
