Jan 23rd, 2023Bright, tart cherry, nice bright inky finish. Slightly tart, medium bodied. Loving it with pizza.

Jan 1st, 2023Had this wine many times over the years and it keeps getting more basic… there is nothing to suggest Priorat. I mean, it has a great dark red fruit profile, but that’s about it. Very plush & elegant on palate - very smooth through lingering finish, but I’m missing terroir here

Dec 29th, 2022Pretty good, had on Jill’s pontoon in Georgia ! More floral and bold. Classic raisiny Spanish wine taste, black fruit. Great to keep warm

Oct 7th, 2022Quite polished and a bit too much oak though. Balanced and fine tannins and if I remember the price is quite good for this entry bottle. ? Sub$30 I believe?

Jul 9th, 2022I know next to nothing about Priorat. But I’ve had as much Grenache as any respectable 57 year old wine lover and I am comfortable in saying that Alvaro Palacios has not done much to make his mark on this varietal. Camins del Priorat has the generic profile of tannic black cherry and not much else. It’s like a basic Cote du Rhône without the hallmarks of a specific sub-appellation
