Amphora
Unti Vineyard Syrah

Dry Creek Syrah, so still predictably pretty ripe and rich (14.5% ABV), fruit still shows a lot of primary redfruits, berry/cherry, not as tannic as in its youth, some leathery notes (low-level Brett, I’d guess) emerge with aeration, long, lingering kick-ass finish, Rick made some pretty amazing wines under this label starting in 1998. (125 cases made, purchased on release.)
