This is how I like my cocktail reds - bold and intense with bright acidity, drinkable in hot weather if slightly chilled. It has medium but solid tannic structure and a nice dose of mocha cherry. The mouthfeel is rich and dusty but not too thick.

Superlative. amazing. exceeding all expectations. This single-vineyard Cab has all that one would want from a Napa Cab - dark mocha coco late cherry flavors, dense complex tannic structure, lingering dusty finish - but with a bright acidic twist. It took me a few bottles to determine what I like about this wine but I see it now - it is a classic trope skewed slightly sideways, much like your humble narrator himself 😼
