Mineral, great acid, white peach, apple, quince, and a little petrol to round things out. Dare I say a touch of Pencil shavings and fleshy green plums? Wicked good!

Nov 18th, 2020Words “Anam Cara” are Celtic for “friend of my soul.” Nick and Sheila have made wines since planting grapes in 2001. Tasted ‘13 & ‘14 together. ‘13, aromatic aromas of ripe tropical & stone fruits. On the palate peach and melon flavors with a touch of citrus. Medium+ finish, vivid acidity with rich ending. Drinking well now. Nice value. Tasting Sample.

Sep 29th, 2019Depth & body without being too oaky. Not that a Riesling should be. Definitely lives up to its dry name, but has a smoothness that tempers the bite. Definitely works for hot, summertime temps when Chardonnay is too much & PG is too light. Getting this guy again
