Close to the top wine of thanksgiving. And cheap! So juicy and fruit forward, but minerality and beet earthiness to boot. Yuppers.

This was SO good, such a good QPR, or at least I'm developing a taste for barbera. Nice spicy red fruit, transparent ripe cherries, some savory meatiness, and a soft but full texture. 13.5 abv is plenty balanced.

I'm not sure if this is a compliment, but it really reminds me of a lifesaver. I like it. It's almost got a tonic-like twist at the finish.
