Definitely one of the best sub $90 wines I’ve ever had. 2005 vintage drinking in 2022, it’s in its prime. Tannins are delicate and velvety. Color is just showing a brownish tint of the edge. Fruit is still primary, black fruit loaded. Secondary flavors coming in strong as well, earthiness, mushroom, tobacco, leather. Acidity still there saying I got several more years to go. Nice long finish. Really enjoyed this!
