Anne Claude Leflaive
Clau de Nell Anjou Grolleau
Leflaive x Grolleau. Super interesting. Unlike any Grolleau I've ever had. Not grape-ey or beaujolais-like, but firm, tannic, and (most likely) age-worthy. It's probably not worth $50 retail but is the best and most shining example of its kind. #decantthis #leflaive

2 people found it helpfulMar 2nd, 2015Anne Claude Leflaive’s Loire project. Wasn’t sure what to expect but this Grolleau had a lot more structure and grippy tannins than I would have expected and I should have given it plenty of air before drinking. Dark fruit with a bit of spice on the finish. Built for the long haul which I would not have expected.
