2009. This wine benefited from cellar time. Beautiful powerful bouquet, tons of red fruit with integrated tannins and a long finish. This was a nice wine

Jul 30th, 2017The 2009 version of Antica Terra's Botanica, this is still one of the best pinots coming out of Oregon's Willamette Valley. Terrific nose of sour cherry and rhubarb, medium body on the palate, with great balance and a lingering finish. Maggie Harrison was an assistant to Manfred Krankle at Sine Qua Non before founding Antica Terra, and you can see it in the precision of this wine. Run, don't walk, to buy her wines!
