Actually, 9.2 understates how good this wine was. Complementing a lovely menu, after a stern wine steward had demanded we let it breathe for 45 minutes, we had a wonderful experience. The wine, which had a tannic bite when we tasted an earlier sample, smoothly showed plum, cherry, and just a bit of minerality. We will remember this meal for a long time!
