I love Brunello. Sangiovese in its purest expression grounds and elevates me at the same time. Graceful fruit and power at the same time.Yin & Yang.there is always a fantastic acidity that makes it a wonderful companion to food. This 2007 Brunello di Montalcino with its garnet color, pretty nose is indeed elegant and soft. I miss the impact of tannins, more structure and the largely earthy tones that I associate with BM. However, very enjoyable and ready to drink now.

Drink now, forget about ageing further. Good not great. Lacking acidity.
