Argyle Winery Spirit Hill Vineyard Brut Rosé 2020, Eola Amity Hills, Oregon

Pretty color of dark salmon.

Fruity nose and medium in body with medium plus acidity and medium sized bubbles.

Dry on the palate and complex.

Showing raspberries, strawberries, citrus, over ripen apples, peaches, herbs, yeast, sea salt, light earth and minerals.

This is a young sparkling Rosé from Williamette Valley in Oregon. Showing nice complexity on the palate more than on the nose. Very fresh in style, and a little unbalanced.

Would be nice to revisit it in 5 years and see how it evolves.

This Single Vineyard is easy drinking and good by itself or with food.

A blend of 50% Pinot Noir, 30% Pinot Meunier and 20% Chardonnay. Aged for 3 years on the lees.

12.5% alcohol by volume.

89 points.

$65.
