Knudsen Vineyard Brut Rosé 2015

I'm generally a big fan of the Argyle sparklers, but this one was so much apple for a long time it was almost a cider. Eventually improved and turned good but definitely an unusual profile for an extended period. — 3 years ago

Lone Star Vineyard Pinot Noir 2017

Pretty bold flavor for a pinot. Less fuzzy on the tongue. Smells great. A touch of smoky heat on the clean finish. Really satisfying, overall. — 5 years ago

An amazing sparkler with 59% Pinot Noir and 41% Chardonnay aged 10 years in the lees. Hints of quince and toast in this elegant bubbly. A delicious way to celebrate the Biden Harris victory speech! — 6 years ago

Nuthouse Willamette Valley Pinot Noir 2021

Delectable Wine
9.3

Autumnal spices, dusty lavender and steeped plums form a darkly alluring bouquet as the 2021 Pinot Noir Nuthouse opens in the glass. Soft-textured, round and supple, it envelops the palate with ripe wild berry fruits and hints of cola as violet inner florals add lovely depth. Gently tannic, the 2021 finishes spicy and long yet remarkably fresh. Already incredibly easy to like, the Nuthouse Pinot Noir is balanced for a pretty evolution over the medium term. Vintage Brut Willamette Valley Chardonnay Blend 2015

The smell of the bin as if you’d just run a line of red delicious and golden apples through the juicer. Sour, raw, seed laden apple core. As always, wonderfully good vintage sparkling for about $20. It’s Pinot driven, rich and fruity and you register the 6g of residual digest. — 6 years ago
