Light, rich but delicate, light cherry, hint of tobacco and leather, almost not fruit but delightfully dry. A truly fantastic wine.

Dec 29th, 2017My first time trying frappato and I'm glad it was Occhipinti's. The wine evolved throughout the course of the meal, starting with earth and funk, a good amount of acid, and ending with a well-rounded smokiness to it. Great bottle!

Jun 1st, 2017Love it! Super fresh although lots of Brett on the nose that takes awhile to blow off. Slight effervescence although no visible bubbles.
