N: showing it’s age with forest floor and tobacco , cherries, cedar, salami spice
P: brighter on the palate once it opened up, then even better w food. Sour black cherries, cranberry, licorice, herbs, orange peel. Lots of acidity. Med - body. Tannins have tamed w age (there’s a little grip suggesting they were more aggressive in youth)
Enjoyed with chicken and beets and greens with wild rice and paired beautifully.
